How far in to the future is the day where two old farts are talking crap at each other on their ipads at the old folks home?
There's a reference for "still around"
These 2 bands set that standard:
Aerosmith, Rolling Stones.
If they are still making new music, like Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler,....then they're "still around". If you have to go to a casino to watch what's left of the band re-hash the same 70's junk that gets played on classic rock FM channels, or have to dig up an old Vevo vid.....
They're dead.
By your own criteria, Boston is "Still Around". They put out a new album four years ago... same year as Aerosmith's most recent album.
Boston is not dead, but their lead singer is. Brad Delp did himself in using some sort of gas if I remember right. The rolling stones are simply walking dead. What are they, in their 90s now?
Well I've seen Aerosmith 7X in concert .The first time was on their very 1st tour. They ARE Great !

Never said I didn't like Aerosmith.
YOU said there was only one rock group and that Aerosmith was it. That is patently false.
There's lots of rock groups, hell, a lot of epic rock groups. Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Journey, I could go on and on and on and on.... (see what I did there?)
