Raising up exhaust?

Ok, well i got mufflers on today, and they are low AS HELL. My car is lowered about 2" with some H&R Super Sports and with that and the mufflers, I have about 2-3 " of clearance at the mufflers.

Ive heard that if I loosen everything up, then jack it up some it will hold where I jacked it up to. Is this true?

bend the hangers also make sure the exhuast insulaters(pieces of rubber the hold exhuast) are in good shape,

Still can'believe you got mufflers. lol

When I reinstall my exhaust, I do the jack trick too, not too much but just to keep them snug up under the car. I don't know if there is enough play to get yours all the way up, but it will probably help some.

Ok I was looking at cutouts and all the electric ones I find are like $200+ each. how much did you pay for those?

Im thinking about just getting some xable ones. Anyone know if those are any good?

i paid $300 for the pair from summit i thought about the cables but i wanted to control both at the same time by a switch which i put in my drivers door.

I look at it this way what i paid for them i could have bought the magnapack i wanted but have not been able to turn down the noise when i wanted and since i get home from work around 12-2am and i live in a sheety homeowners neighborhood and iam pretty sure they would all complain.

the problem i have right now is i cut up my BBK hpipe and welded the cutout pipes in and I need to get it right or else it will leak.

I've got H&R Sports (1.5")and I have 3" of clearance. I just deal with it and scrape the H-pipe. Aftermarket pipes are bigger, and aren't made perfectly. There isn't all that much you can do unfortunately.
