yep, my mechanic is just an idiot lol the steeda cable will fit fine, but he couldnt do it.

Im gonna take this as an opportunity to return the Steeda cable and buy a Maximum Motorsports cable since i cant find the OEM cable for less than $100

Thanks man

apparently, im already having problems with it. The mechanic cant even install it because he says "its too long" and has apparently adjusted it all the way but it still doesnt have enough tension to move the clutch

guess im gonna have to return it, and buy an OEM one

i should have just done the install myself when i get back in march

It's not BS...exactly what I went through. If you mount it in the traditional supports it's in a bind and will rupture through the housing. He is experiencing exactly what I did. I had a firewall adjuster and triple hook quadrant so I was able to disengage the clutch but if you had the stock firewall mount it wouldn't work.

I think the OEM cable is $75 here. I can check for you if you want.

yea thatd be great man thanks The local stealership wanted $100 for it i'd suck it up and buy it there, but they're asshats, they've tried to screw me over before, so no way im giving them anymore of my money.

im still waiting on a response by American muscle about returning the cable, im sure they're going to assess fee's, so i want to see if theyll give me credit at the most, in which case i'll just purchase the MM cable from them by just paying the difference.

EDIT: Nvm, the MM one needs a FWA to work. So i just need an OEM cable now lol hopefully AM returns most of my money back :/

I'll give them a call and post back...

Edit...

79.98 plus tax...so 86 bucks. What airport is close to you?
