i just got back from the 1/8th mile running a best of 8.92 at 77.8 mph with a full weight 2000 convertable automatic with stock gears and street tires. mods are 3600 stall,half of a cai long tubes,no cats, flows,jmod and xcal. also have 18 inch wheels on there. soon to have 4.10s and radials. is this a decent run and what to expect with gears and tires.

Doesn't sound bad to me !

By comparison, my last time at the track in hot, humid weather and no stall :

60' 2.123

330' 5.819

1/8 8.804 @ 83.63

1/4 13.560 @ 103.72



Any clue what your car weighs in at ? I think I am ~ 3600 w/ me in the car and as much gas as I can have after driving from Houston to Baytown.


Times are on my Kumho 712's .

i think around 2.1 or something. street tires suck.

Those are respectable for an auto vert with your mods.

Sticky tires will only help you out more, especially with the stall.
