It looks like it is too high off the ground but it just might be the photos. Love the glassy paint.

Mustang II Anniversary Parade

Friday at 2PM

Are you ready to have TWO much fun? Join us with your Mustang II for a special parade at 2PM on Friday at the Carlisle Ford Nationals. This parade is open TWO all Mustang II’s registered for the showfield and in the display tent. Beginning at 1:30PM the parade group will begin lining up by the Mustang II 50th Anniversary Display tent and classes. Special Guest John Clor of Ford Performance will be the Grand Marshal of this parade. The parade will lap the infield of the event and pass in front of the grandstand for all TWO see. This is really TWO cool of an opportunity to miss out on if you are a Mustang II owner.

Found this for sale, $3,500 without engine.
Original 302 4 speed car.
They claim they have the parts to put the engine together but price jumps to $5,000
It is about 60 miles away.
Thinking about buying it as a project

Probably just build a mild 302 with points ign. Something very simple.
I already have a high hp drag car.

It may end up that way.
I have a 2.8L Kenne Bell on the racecar, but I also have a 4.2L Kenne Bell ready to replace it
So...
That 2.8 becomes available.
I have a set of AFR 220 Renegade heads that just need a little repair work, so they could be used.
I have a set of JE 10.4:1 pistons for a 363 build, new in box, available.
Also have a MSD Distributor that could be converted back to original operation.
I have a MSD 6AL2 and the matching coil available.
I have a good used set of Crower Solid Roller Lifters.
And probably a half dozen other items that could be used.
BUT...that just turns the II into a "racecar"
Which I already have one of, that can't be driven on the street.
I need to stop. I am talking myself into building something entirely different than what I "want". Lol.
