A friend of mine just brought his 90 5.0L over. He is going to be going drag racing with me in 1 week. He wants to install a nitrous kit on his car i think he should shake the 2.73's first. I asked him if he has bumped his timing up and he says no. The car still is the factory ride hieght for heavens sake. But here is the rare find..................This car still has the factory air silencer in it. lol I told him how to remove it. I hope he does. man what a stock car that one is.

Wow - tell him to hold onto it once he removes it. I'd bet that silencer will be worth $$ in 20 years! They are probably getting rare already!

When I bought my 93 about 2 1/2 years ago it still had the factory air silencer on it, the rubber distributor cover. The only thing that had been done is that smog pump had been bypassed. They just unbolted the pulley and put a short belt on it. Other than that the car was stock. And slow as hell. 
All three of my stangs came with it... As for rare my ashtray door and vanity lights in the visors work..

my 92 has the smog pump functioning and the rubber dizzy boot...but the ashtray door and vanity lights are DOA...and i have a nasty ghetto lean and shot sunroof weatherstripping...however i have never had a non-working maplight in any of my cars :-D many people dont realize that if you jiggle the little button, the light will often work :-D

My 93 LX came with the rubber dist boot, air silencer, nothing bypassed, working ashtray door, and both sets of lights in the visors still work fine....my sisters always use them when they are in the pass seat =(....also brand new factory exhaust. I wish I never threw the air silencer out lol, it probably will be worth something later on.

I'll chime in--mine had the silencer, dizzy boot, factory cassette, ashtray door, original exhaust (not replaced--original) and smog still intact.
I still have the exhaust, silencer, dizzy cover in the garage.
Car is for sale, too. Unmolested. I just installed a full exhaust, that's all--rest is still stock.

My silencer is collecting dust in the basement.I took it off right after buying the car.
