I would too if I actually needed a set. The ones on the car he bought were perfectly fine.I personally would still want the pristine set. The repo's are missing the Mustang decal aren't they?
Isn't the strange the guy the guy that does the how-to videos for LMR?The sun roof cover or the strange guy behind the wheel?
I hear ya on that one.Seems as though actual Ford Motorcraft ignition parts like TFIs etc. are getting hard to find.
When I start thinking about some of the stock parts I've tossed over the years I could cry !
Were the CD players a 93 thing only?Factory '93 CD player.
I got a similar unit out of a 95 F-150 for my '93 a while back. I still have to fabricate something to hold the coin tray, though.

In the mustang yes. They can be retrofitted into the 87-92 cars if you can find one and the amp/wiring.
The CD players came in mid-90's Windstars, contours and even SN95 mustangs without the mach 460 could get the single din CD player (rare). Only difference is the fox mustang had a squared off face, and the coin slot underneath.
I put one in my car
1993 Premium sound stereo into 87-92 Mustang : Install thread
No real questions here, just a thread to document what i've learned in this little project of mine. There is very little info on the net regarding this, i mostly had to peice info together that now seems very straightforward now from sources on the internet. I chose to install a 1993 OEM CD...www.stangnet.com
If you have any 87-93 original radio, the bottom plate will come off and then you can swap it with the one on the CD player. Then the coin tray will bolt on. It doesn't fix the rounded face on the radio though.
I may have a 'coin tray' around here someplace. I call them 'cubby holes', they ain't big enough for much.
you want me to look for it?
