rash ran a 7.80 today with a 1.13 60ft, the skinny kid or(progas???) car seems to be working good.
TheRichDude said:Get it straight buddy, its was 7.70 yesterday. Not bad for only 20 pounds of boost! And it was a 1.11 60 foot on that pass. Intercooler split wide open and was making no boost. Went out today and before shutting the car down before 1/8 mile it ran a 1.07 60 foot and 2.95 to the 330 foot mark. Work it out, that works out to a low 7, high 6 second pass. Not bad for a conservative launch and a very fat tune. You know, just keeping it safe. But thanks for the interest.

As for you first post, seems to be quite sarcastic to me know it all.Need to install head lights and a second seat to race in CPSA. We haven't decided yet if we are going to bother to modify the car to run in CPSA. Every other Pro Street class in North America recognizes the car as a "pro Street" car so why would we change the car to run in the CPSA that pays so little money and has such a pour turn out in Pro Street? Everyone we have talked to has said not to bother with CPSA, we shall see? The car is new to us and we need to familurize ourselves with the car.
"Congratulate rash on blowing the intercooler up with ONLY 20 lbs boost..."
What is that suppost to mean?

material costs would only be 10-15K on a roller like that
TheRichDude said:When I corrected you about the 7.70, I was just kidding. The Pro Gas Stickers are there because he helped Rash out with the work that he did. If you weren't being sarcastic in your first post then I was wrong, thats how I took it.Just tired of hearing retards say stupid things. I thought you were trying to start something so you got the brunt of it. A truths it is then.
As far as running DOT's, we all will have to see? After we get the car dialed in and are happy with it then we will decide what events we want to attend. Maybe we will just say screw it to the CPSA all together and go run some PSCA events down in Califorinia and Vegas? In the end, DOT tires are pretty much a waist of time with a car of this caliber. It doesn't matter if Rash lays down a 6 with slicks or DOT's. People can cry all they want, the car is a Pro Street car and thats that! When Dal ran a 7.84 when his car was still a small tire car that was with slicks and people still called it the first Super Street car in the 7's. The car is beautiful the way it looks now, to chop up that awesome front end to put head lights in it would be stupid. If they allow us to run smaller lights on the bottom of the front end like other Pro Street classes do down south then maybe we will conider it, but for now our priority is to run the car and get comfortble with it.
