Rattle in the roof-please help a girl out!

I have a 2004 mustang convertible. This is my first mustang and my first convertible so I don't know what to expect. I don't know if the rattle I hear every time I go over a bump is normal. I took it back to the dealer the day after I bought the car (a month ago) and they said it was missing some kind of rubber strip in between the roof and the frame. So fine, they replaced it. However, although it doesn't sound like the whole car is going to fall apart anymore, it still sounds pretty scary. Is this to be expected because it's a convertible? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Ive driven a 2004 V6 Convertible while my Mustang was in the shop getting maintence done and I never heard any rattles from the top. I am wondering if your top latches are loose or not locking properly.

That's what I was going to suggest checking. The latches are adjustable by turning them clockwise to tighten them. Give them a turn and see if it helps.

Roof shouldnt rattle. Make the dealer fix it. To really tighten up your vert get a STB and FL Subs (MM stuff is really nice).
