Rattle under stress

Not sure what this is, I'm sure someone on here can help me out. For starters, the stang is completely stock so far.

When I accelerate hard in second and third gear, when I get my RPMs high, above 4500, I can hear a pretty loud rattling coming from under the hood. There is a decrease in rate of acceleration, but since I'm already running out of non-red RPMs, that might be nothing. This happened on my old '88 Nissan daily driver, so I don't know if it's normal or very bad. Any insight?

Thanks!

Pinging? Detonation?

Poor gas? Hot, high altitude?

It usually occurs lower in the power band on acceleration...

Or, time to collect on the warranty and have it looked at by the Stealer, uh, I mean, Dealer...

There was a TSB about the bolts in the trans either being missing or coming loose. I had a rattle coming from the exhuast and it turned out to be the problem covered in the TSB. Bolts coming loose from the trans and some missing. I don't know if this is your problem or not but worth a trip to the dealer anyway.
Where in the chicago area are you?
