Raw gas smell while driving.

Lately i have been smelling the scent of raw gas while i'm driving, not all the time though.I have checked to see if i have a leaky gas tank or lines under the car.....didnt see any drops on the ground or even smell gas in the area under the tank.I'm guessing its in the engine compartment some where.Anything i should look at specifically?

Check EVAP system and gas cap, outside of that stay away from Taco Bell before you drive.

also check for leaking fuel injector

injectors or could be around where you metal lines connect.

Another vote for the EVAP system, especially the purge lines. They tend to rot at the connection at the charcoal cannister (front passenger portion of the engine compartment). The line also vulcanizes just under the plenum.
