re calibrateing Guages.

Whats the best way to re cal your guages after putting new faces etc on?

would like to know myself my fuel and volts are off just a tad.

I would use my HEC diagnostic to do it thats why i posted earlier on it but i cant get the stupid thing to work.

I have pictures of mine at idle if you guys need to look at them. The fuel wouldn't really help (for it I'd just fill the car all the way up and move the needle to the F line...wouldn't be exact but close enough).

Oil and volts just center up when the car is idiling. They're just glorified idiot lights anyway and don't ever fluctuate/move. There's an article on mustang world that explains the hec diagnostic and that's how I set my fuel by guesstimating what the hec said to what the gauge should read. Speeo and tach were set by the hec as well.

thats my issue i do the hec test push insert key rotate back etc and i get no Test in the display HEC wont work on my 99 for some reason

Are you holding it down long enough? Mine takes a bit of time before it shows "test."

I have to hold mine for about 5 sec. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't it only work on 01 and up.

Should be all LED gauge sets which started in 1999 guys with 99s post about it. I did hold that bitch for about 45 secs no love
