Re-painting the steering wheel - what paint?

Same model car just a 96 v6.More talk goin on here.

The steering wheel is light gray.The inside edges of it are yellowing and paint is coming off.What kind of paint could you use to re-paint it the factory color and not rub off so easily.That's what I'm afraid of with that interior paint you get at Advanced Auto Parts.Any suggestions?

Yes,I use wheel covers.All is fine except the inside edges.Thanks

I would imagine they make some kind of paint for that material. People paint interior pieces all the time. Just not sure what its called b/c Ive never done it.

It has to be some sort of heavy duty interior paint.If you just used standard interior paint then it would rub off after a few months of driving.
