I'm not sure exactly what years of elect. fan out of a Taurus will fit into 89 GT. Looking at a fan out of a 94 Taurus w/ 3.8L. This will be a direct fit, right? Thanks!

I haven't done the swap. As long as you know the measurements (height and width) of your radiator, the fan should just mount right up.

Are you running some sort of controller for the fan? People on here recommend the DCC controller.

It will fit. You will probably have to do a little fabricating to mount it but nothing really hard. I just got a Taurus fan for my 93 and I have a griffin 31x19 aluminum radiator, which is thicker than stock and my taurus fan fits. Pretty close to the waterpump pulley but it clears.

Nothing that you retrofit is an direct fit.

Check out Fordmuscle's write up (I think that is the site with the article) on putting that fan in a stang.

The DcController is the way to go.

Good luck.

I think that fan is from the 92-95 Taurus.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. I'm just waiting to hear back from the guy w/ the fan. Thanks for the tip on the write-up. I'll check it out.
