I just some confirmation or denial that this story is
A guy I know is selling his whole "drag truck" setup (13 second build)
according to him, you'd need to get a fuildamper, as aparently, "the new rebuilt internals and reciprocating assembly is SO light that it keeps causing the stock balancer to tear the front seal and then the balancer ends up wobbling around. To me, it sounds like AT LEAST the crank, if not the ENTIRE reciprocating assembly, would at hat point be screwed and/or permanantly damaged, or there is a MUCH bigger problem here. I didn't want to call
to his face, but I'm pretty sure it is.
It would seem it's only logic, no?
Correct me if I'm wrong here, guys!
Thanks!
J
