Sean is one of my best friends!..Wives hang out together,kids play etc.etc..he did all my work as well.I have the HO vortech as well with some tweakin' to the tune,headers,exhaust ,int & ext stuff..yada yada..I saw your car over there getting worked on...very nice! I live in simi and am the VP of sales/national sales manager for B&M..Right down the road from sean's shop.

I don't know if you've made your decision or not, but for what it's worth here goes:

I am contemplating the same thing and I just got off the phone with Tim from Steeda. They will be realeasing their blower in about 2-3 weeks. It is an Eaton 112 (i think) like the ones on the lightning.

You might want to give them a call just to find out before you purchase...

I am in no way affiliated with Steeda, but I do buy their parts (I have them on my '06 and my '04 Cobra) and I've never had a problem with anything from them...

I am looking for a little boost as well for an '06, how do this engines handle boost?? I won't fry it by putting 4-5psi will I?

4-5 is conservative. the saleen uses about 4 psi with its stock spuercharger. they need to be able to warranty the engine for 3/36. it has been proven reliable so far. some people that up the boost have had problems. most of them had over 430+ rwhp.

Would you happen to have any more info on this blower kit from Steeda? Are they developing their own kit in-house?

I don't have any more info. Call steeda and ask them. I had called about some other stuff and thats when they told me about it. It is supposed to be the Lightning S/C modified for use on the 05/06 engine. If it is anywhere as nice as the stock blower on my '04 Cobra, I will be really happy and buy it...

I do believe they are developing it inhouse with help from Ford (They have pretty good relations with Ford from what I understand.)

I have to call theem later today for some more suspension parts. I'll ask them again and post back what I learn...
