ive been reading up on the 5-lug conversion but have a few questions. from what ive been reading to keep drums on the back i need to pull 2 axles from the driver side of a ranger w/a 7.5in rear. i have a former 4cyl 89lx thats been swapped to a carbed 302. but it still has the 7.5in rear. im pickin up a 8.8 housing out of a stang tomm. but i need the axles, gears, and diff still so i thought i might as well do the swap. so my question is-

what vehicle should i get a posi from to work with these axles?

and what gears should i put in it? it has a t5 but dont know if it was from a v8 or not.

and also what vehicle can i pull the gears from?

thanks

Read the tag on the cover first. It will tell you if it's a limited slip or not. I beleive they came with 3.08's and 3.27's. The tag will read either 3L08 or 3L27.

If you are lucky to find a turbo coupe it will have 3.55's or 3.73's.
