Hello there,
I have parts for the rebuilt and ratiochange of a 7,5 rear axle. But now i found out that the haynes repair manual of the car is not good enough. Some important info is missing eg torque settings.Who can give advise where to find the info to rebuilt this axle or tips, tricks and techniques. Is it also wise to do the job with the axle still under the car or do some more effort and remove the axle??

are you rebuilding the diff or changing the gears, if the gaers you need a few special tools, dial gauge, inch lb torque wrench and a pinion depth gauge etc. i did mine and to be honest unless you really want to do it yourself i would take it in to a shop.
If you want to just change the bearing etc its not too bad
Check out "BAD SHOES" videos on rebuilding axle a real must have if you are going to tackle this
