Hello everyone, New too this forum obviously. I have been browsing alot lately and have found many tips that have become helpful. I am seeking help with my rear brakes.
1. Replaced all hardware, slide pins, pads, and rotors on rear.
2.Greased everything that needed to be greased
3.rinsed new rotors with brake cleaner to remove grease from auto store
My problem is having wear on the out one inch of rotor. There is a perfect 1 inch band where the pad is only grabbing on the rotor. The only thing I do not understand is it is the exact same size on either side. I turned the piston in, and reinstalled. Stopping is good, but not great.
Any suggestions? Thanks!!
