Gentlemen, replaced one rear set of rear brake pads and had trouble getting a wrench on the caliper bolts with the ebrake cable in the way. Had to take the spring off and it was still a bear. After replacing the one side now with no return spring, I could not get the other side off with the cable. Without a boxed end wrench or a socket I just started to round out the bolt. Every time I read about the rear brakes there is never a mention of this. Should I just take off the cable? Can I get it on again? Tough design to work through. Any tips are apperciated.
