Has anyone experienced any issues with the rear brake calipers freezing up and stop working? I have had this happen on two sets of break calipers on my 01 GT? So basically all I have are front brakes.....
Any thoughts or assistance is greatly appreciated...
Yeah, this is common. The most likely cause is that the caliper slide pins were not lubed with antiseize the last time the brakes were worked on. Take the brake apart, clean it up well and lube the slide pins with anti-seize. Remember that caliper pistons on rear brakes screw in and are not simply compressed in with a c-clamp...
