Ive recently converter my 89 notch to 5 lug and 4 wheel disk brakes

Up front i have factory v8 mustang spindles and calipers with lincoln rotors and the fronts stop no problem ... Out back i put together a good rear with good axles but for the brakes i used the backing plates off a 94/95 mustang i also used the factory 5 lug rotors, and calipers... bent and made all the hard lines needed to adapt to the factory lines.. i used a pressure brake bleeder.. So i know theres absolutly no air in the lines...

My ? is ... if i pump the brakes up the rear brakes hold great.. But if i just apply them normally the fronts are locked like they should.. but i can still turn the rear wheels... is the factory v8 proportional valve my problem here... Maybe not applying enough brake fluid to the rear calipers... any information on this will be greatly appreciated...

thank you all

You NEED to run an aftermarket brake proportioning valve. Your best bet would be to gut and plug the factory unit and install and install an inline unit on the rear line.

Yep, Sounds like the proportioning valve. That website that hardman posted up has a lot of good information.
