Rotors and calipers the same too?

Yup. They are the same identical brakes to a 1993 cobra.

The cobra have your disk brakes, stock 60mm calipers and use a larger booster and 1" bore mc for better braking. Hopefully the po installed the 93 cobra booster and mc to take full effect for you

Booster will be larger than stock, and mc will have two brake lines coming out of it instead of three.

Also, you may have an adjustable valve on the pass side of the firewall.

Of course pics will help as well

Im kind of afraid to go look. Haha, means more money to be spent if they aren't upgraded. What are the benefits of these upgrades anyway?
Pictures will be up in a bit.

Oh, and Maximum Motorsports has my order for the pads.

Does anybody have any old Ford SVO (pre-FRPP) catalogs?
I thought Ford offered a 4-lug rear disk kit that used an SVO master cylinder. The proportioning valve mounted on the pass side firewall and used a fox body smog pump bracket. It was a complete kit.

I don't remember that kit.

The svo mc is too big. It's a 1 1/8 bore mc designed for the huge svo calipers. Used with the cobra rear brakes, the pedal may be slightly too stiff for ones preference,

The ideal mc is the cobra 1" after all this is what ford used from the factory.

Superducky...looks like the stock mc and booster. How is your pedal feel? Is the pedal a little soft and mushy?

It may be the town car MC...which is 1" bore and looks identical to the SVO MC.

I beleive that is the MC used in the SSBC kit which uses the t-bird rear setup. Not sure.

Its not hard by any means, but not mushy. Pulsates a little, but that means rotors, right?

Yeah. That would be rotors.

If you are confident you are achieving good braking, then I wouldn't worry about the mc and booster.

...and hit up MM. I like dealing with them, although their shipping time seems to be a bit long. Of the 2 or 3 orders ive placed with them, it took 2 days to just process the order, then almost 4 days of shipping.. not counting the weekend.
