Alright guys heres my problem, any help you can offer? Aright car always made a whining noise since the gear was put in, it's a 98 cobra with a 4:30 gear, anyway, never bothered me, rear end shop said it was the pinion gear but not to worry if that whining doesnt bother me. . . so anyway we worked on the trans and when we had it up in the air we decided to give the rear end a flush and it was fine for a week everything was great and car was all good for a while. . . someone told me i needed to add chatter stuff so i bought it and never put it in and my trans was messed up so i took it out to fix it again, and when i put ita ll back together i said well lets just add the chatter stuff while its up in the air, trans is perfect, now the rear end if its not under pressure like if ur not giving it a little gas it makes almost like a grinding moaning noise as u slow down and if ur going slow enough u can hear it almost soudns like a bearing so we took the cover off the rear end and spun the wheels and u can hear it louda nd clear, so i put it all abck together and changed the fluid, still messed up and its getting worse and worse the more u do it, any help? what do i do!
