rear end help?

i have a 9inch rear end right now i dont know what the gears are right now but i saw this on craigslist http://sacramento.craigslist.org/pts/411133852.html would this be much of a downgrade? i really want to get it cause it comes with the disk brake setup is it a good deal if the gears in it are good?

If you want discs, why not do the Crown Vic/Exploder conversion?
You get the lightweight and modern discs without giving up your 9"...
