When driving there is a whine, with almost a grinding/friction sound. Increases as I accelerate but it is still there when I let off the gas. I am unsure if it is just the wheel bearing or something else?
Ok, could be the wheel bearings, your going to have to take the wheels and drums off, pull the rear cover off too to get the axles out to replace them. In my experience if the pinion bearing was going south it would be leaking, there are also carrier bearings, have any experience at that end of a car?
