I'm going to be getting some gears installed and want to know if you guys think i should do the diff "Eaton Posi" and Axels to. I will probably only go to the track a few times this years and was thinking it might be going a little over the top dropping in a Eaton, And i think i read here that the axels are the weak point of the rear end, so maybe do the gears and some Moser 28 Splines. let me know what you guys think or running yourself.

I f you are not using slicks or drag radials you stock axles and differential should be just fine. I ran on a stock rear end for 3 years. 2 of which where on 15" drag radials. I did wear out the clutches in the stock diff (one wheel spin) and slighlty bent an axle, but both of those came last year from 1.8x 60's. The clutches were easy to fix. If you are just an occasional racer with out sticky tires you should be just fine with stock parts. If you have the cash tehn it does not hurt to upgrade, but it is not "needed."
