Rear Ended

Well I was rear ended on Highway 75 north in Richardson Texas last Saturday.

So now I am waiting on a adjuster to come by and look at the car so I can get it fixed.

The bumper cover will have to be replaced for sure. The accident also bent my drivers side exhaust tip down a few inches. I am thinking about getting a 03 cobra bumber and having the letters filled in. Will that bumper cover fit on a 02 gt?

I already have the 99 cobra front on my stang. Anyone have any opinion on if the 03 cobra rear bumper would look good along with the 99 cobra front?

Yeah it was a crappy deal. Then to top it all off the driver says he doesn't have a drivers license or proof of insurance. Luckily I had already called the police.

Finally the driver's dad showed up with insurance information. I was really relieved when I got his insurance info. A claims adjuster should be looking at the car tomorrow.

The driver of the car that hit me got 4 tickets. I couldn't believe he didn't go to jail for driving with no license.

Mine was whacked pretty hard too. Look in the spare tire well and see if it crinkled it. I had 3 grand in damage to mine.

Oh I know!...I had just waxed it. I would have thought the other car would just slide off my bumper??? Must have been a cheap wax.

I am meeting the claims adjuster today at 9am. After that I am taking the car to my body shop to start talking about the repairs.

I hope all goes well and I can get the cobra bumper.

2 months?? That sucks. Hopefully mine won't be that long.

Long story. Basically, car went back 3 times. eachtime, they keep messing up the same thing.

I'm having one of my school instructer(Autobody shop instructer) see the car, and have him calling insurance company next monday. Hope good words from respected school instructer would persuade insurance co to do something about it
