Not too smart on this stuff but if I'm being honest, I'm thinkin it's making a bit too much noise when coasting. Accep and decel are fine. Thoughts?

Looks ok to me guessing that there are a few miles on this gear set.
Are those actual lines in the teeth where they pinion gear runs on the ring gear?

Use some marking compound so we can more easily see the pattern

It was a brand new gear set. So, it has around 1k mi. now. And yeah, though I can't feel em through the glove, there does appear to be lines running along the teeth.

I was just in there to swap the oil out, which I was apparently supposed to swap after a 500mi break in. So, the cover's already back on. Taking an 8-9 hr trip to Ohio tomorrow.
