For stock or modded heights on basically stock cars I use these guys...

www.espo.com

Very knowlegeable. They ask specific questions like what engine in the car, a/c, ect...They will fit your car right with the right height that you want the first time. They also have lowered applications too. I never was dissapointed with their specs for height.

I got leaf springs for my 72 coupe a few years back at Mustangs Unlimited for about $150, though they're still sitting in the garage cause I haven't managed to get the old ones out. Replacing the rear springs was just the beginning of a long sequence of events that I won't get into now, but the moral of the story is: Rear leaf springs can be a huge PITA if the eye-bolts have rusted to the eye. You might get lucky, but be prepared to spend some quality time with a sawzall if your not.

My suggestion would be to start WD-40ing EVERYTHING!!!!! All the bolts, nuts, bushings, everything! I did that for a few days and when I took out the leafs on my springs it took me about 15 minutes. Unbolted the leafs from the front eye and the shackles. Even just pushed out the bushing from the rear frame where the shackles were. Very easy, at least for me.

I put 5-leaf "stock ride height" rear springs on my 73 convertible. Very happy with the height and the ride. I used stock rubber bushings and KYB Gas-a-Just shocks.

5 leafs will usually have a higher spring rate and resist compression more. They may or may not make the car sit higher.

There really aren't any brand names for rear leafs. They are made in every big city at custom spring mfgs. It's not hard.

There are very few jobs I farm out, but rear leafs on a rusty car is one of them. It usually isn't that expensive at the local Midas.
