Rear Lower Control arm info...

Hi, I thought I would give you guys some info, in case you make the same mistake I did.

I purchased a set of Rear Lower Control Arms from D&D. They advertise as 79-04. So I go to install them on my '04. And guess what, the bushing sleeve is to small.

Ford used a 12mm bolt for mustangs '79-'98 exclud. IRS for their lower control arms. For '99-'04 they use a 14mm bolt.

Keep this in mind before you buy a lower control arm. If it says 79-04 chances are you need to contact the company before buying. Otherwise you'll be left with a set of Lower Control arms you can do nothing with.

I just want people to know that there is a differrence between some of the years, that way noone has to waste money, then try to sell something you can't use.
