I took a C4 transmission and driveshaft out of one 66 coupe with an inline 6 and tried to put it into another 66 coupe. The driveshaft fits into the rear pinion, but the u bolt doesn't. The holes are 1 3/8 inches apart - from center to center - and 1/4 inch in diameter. I can't find a u-bolt to fit it. The car was originally a straight 6 with a manual transmission.
