Any suggestions for rear shocks on 88 GT convertible?? Its not going to the track or racing...just cruising. I had Steeda progressive rate springs installed and its stock otherwises. Thanks!

Any stock replacement level shock would work. As far as brand...KYB are an ok entry level
Strange 10 ways are pretty nice and reasonably priced as well.

The strange 10-ways are really more of a drag shock no? The adjustability is only on the dampen, but not rebound?
I have full on Tokico Blue adjustables in my car that cost quite a bit of money. I did KYB adjustables in a friend's car, and they hands down beat my Tokico's in every way for half the money. Definitely another recommendation for KYBs.

I run the Koni SRT.Ts with Steeda springs and have been really happy with them.
They are only single adjustable. I can't speak for what Kurt says about the struts.
I don't have any experience with the struts other than to have them on my red car with no engine in it and not driving. Right now, they're doing a fine job of keeping the front end from bouncing too much when I take it off the jack stands

We bought them last minute on a spring job, and the only place that had performance shocks and struts in stock "locally" was the Summit store. We were looking for the Tokicos, but Summit didn't carry them. Kind of glad they didn't. This car was slammed to the ground, at least a 2" drop. It rides incredibly well, until you turn the shock up. Unlike the Tokicos, the adjustment knob is on the back of the shock instead of the top, so you don't have to pull up the trunk liner, or cut holes to make adjustments.
