Any idea how much a poly set will lift the rear? My bottoms are almost non existant and with the weight bar in the car now that the springs are cut its to low. How about spacers? Or maybe I will just buy new springs? Or I am hungry so I am gonna go find a bacon egg and cheese now.

When I installed a complete new set in the back of my car I'd say it lifted it about .5".

Bacon. The answer is always bacon.
I have poly isos on mine but I changed my entire rear set up at the same time so I can't say how much lift they added.

The uncompressed thickness of both isolaters combined is about 5/8 of an inch. I honestly couldn't tell a difference when I did it.

Are they really necessary? I mean, what's the point of their useage anyway?

The point is to lift the rear on my car. Nothing else.

No....I realize why you want them, but I'm I'm curious as to what their function in general is? I've seen cars without them...and they don't squeak, they don't "twang" over bumps? I can only assume they were probably designed to absorb drivetrain shock of some sort, but I don't see any real evidence of them actually doing so?

Jesse has some spring spacers from his new whip that might work, shoot him a message on FB. How come the car is so low josh? Did you lower the mounting point at all or just cut a coil out?
