Rearend length

I have a 1967 coupe 6 cyl that im converting to v8 and so on. i have a 9 inch rear that i got out of a bronco. Its the beefed up version of the 9 inch. i believe its a little too long. I also want to get moser axles for it. what is an ideal length for it. can anyone help me out?

Talk to the boys at Currie. The actual cost to narrow the rear end is not that much. The axles add more and of course the perch relocation would also add. If the axles do not taper at the end they can be cut and re-splined which is not as bad as a new set.

I had less than $500 in mine including new axles and freight to and from California and Georgia.
