Rearend Question

I have the opportunity to buy a fully built 8.8 rearend off a 2002 GT for $400. It has all the goodies (spool, c-clip eliminators, 31 spline axles, 3.55 gears, TA girdle, slotted rotors, etc). I eventually did want a 5-lug conversion for my LX. I know these rearends are longer than fox rear ends and will bolt up. Yet I wanted to know if anyone knew what would be a good backspacing for some Prostars (15x8's) to fit nicely under the fenders and not stick out? Also as far as braking goes..I would need a new master cylinder off a 95+ stang, and a proportioning valve..is this correct? Any help or recommendations would help alot..thanks.

I'm guessing you don't drive this car on the street, you may some head aches with the c-clip eliminator and spool is not going to be "turn" friendly - but that's just my $0.02.

Dont really care about the driveability of spools etc. This car is not my daily driver, just something to go mess around with once in a while.

The 02 Rear End is a Full 3 Inches Wider than a Fox Rear and the LCA Bolts are different, I would Pass on it for sure!
