Hey guys I'm keeping my car as a daily , replaced a bunch of stuff already and bought a bunch of new stuff to put on it , but where , in your experience , is the best place to buy an engine rebuild kit? what would be a going price for one. My car has about 135k on it. The stuff I have at home are new rear brake system , new shocks/ struts. I saw this one:

Home > Shopping > 1991 > FORD > MUSTANG > Parts Results

I wouldn't waste time rebuilding a 2.3 NA engine for any reason, especially at that price. If you take care of the car, the engine will last. Unless you're talking about a turbo engine, then I don't know.

87-88 turbocoupe thunderchicken motor, ecu, harness and about a week give or take a few days.

the swap will be alot cheaper than a rebuild kit and with extra cash you got you can get yourself a nice exhaust system made for cheap.

135k miles and you want to do a reabuild? I'd save the money and put it towards something that will actually show a gain...

northerautoparts.com is alot cheaper too...
