rebuild stock track-lok question

hey guys i need to rebuild my old track lok i am bringing it to a very good ford rear end guy by me. he told me all the stuff to get and one of them was a explorer s-clip the one that goes in the middle of the spider gears. he said it was a stronger spring and had more pressure and would make the trak lok even better. has anyone ever heard of this? and is it true and does it work better? thanks

i have heard that, but never kn0wn any0ne wh0 has d0ne it. i have heard 0f pe0ple putting m0re clutches and steels in the diff which in a sense d0es the same thing. i think id rather put 0ne m0re clutch in there than just squeeze them harder....but maybe its just d0ing the same thing in a different way. but yes it is d0ne
