Does anyone know of a website that has step-by-step instructions for rebuilding and assembling a 302? I want to do more research, so I can visualize things better. I ordered a few books tonight, but they wont be here for a week or so...And looked on yahoo, but can't find anything on the web.
So does anyone have and sites for me to check out?

What about in a book? Hynes or Chiltons are usually good sources of information and they typically have pictures of the parts they are discussing.

I am sure there are books written on the SBF rebuilding process.

Looking for help rebuilding.

Mustang Monthly has excelent articals on how to do most anything you would want to tackle.

The 289-302 engines are simple to rebuild. I'm working on a 1971 302 right now for a friend who's putting in a 67 Mustang. The engine was in real good shape, No boring required, Cam was in good shape as well as bearings. Replacing the pistons with flat tops. Should cost about $700 by the time I start it. The engine in my Mustang was about $2k after rebuild. New everthing, plus bored, Intake, Carb, Ignition, Roller cam, double rollers ect, ect. Add in performance heads adds another 1400 to 1500. How much were you planing on spending ??? Good Luck.
