rebuilding a holley 4160 to 4150

quick question can the metering blocks and float bowls from my 600cfm list# 4776-2 style 4150 holley carb be used on the throttle body of either of my 600cfm List#1850-2 or 1850-3 style 4160 carbs? my 4776-2 body iis no good. and both of my 1850's are in tip top shape.

Yes.
If the secondary metering block on your 4776-2 is drilled for a 4 corner idle, you will have to drill the baseplate also. If not, you're good to go. Make sure the cam actuating the secondary accelerator pump is aligned up correctly.

i just noticed the 1850-3 has no provisios for a squirter. do i drill out the main body and tap it? i think i was able to salvage the 4776-2 body. just need to fit a new float vent tube, i hacket off when i cut the choke horn off. oops
