I recently converted my stock '88 302 EFI to carb with many mods.

TrickFlow Twisted Type R heads
CompCam
Roller rockers
Weland Stealth intake
Demon 650 carb
Hooker long headers
MSD ignition system
Bored 40 over (now a 308)
Electric water pump
Electric fan
etc.

I have beens earching and reading the posts in the forums and can't figure out which is the right firing order for this set up. It's no longer an HO, or is it?
When I ran it on the dyno, there was a slight miss coming from somewhere (that was before a head gasket blew on the dyno), that sucked.

Can someone enlighten me as to the correct firing order?

Thanks.

I'm sure it's the same as stock, but Comp Cams can tell you for sure based on which cam you are using. If it's a roller cam (I'd bet it is) it's the same as the stock firing order which is the same as the 351W. Call Comp Cams with your part number in hand and they will know for sure. The firing order should also be listed on the cam card included with your cam when you got it.

Which cam are you running?

Thanks for the advice.

I believe the cam is a 565/575 with 112 lobe.
