Rebulding Tranny. Best Flywheel/Clutch For MY Car

Have you looked into a TKO trans, used Tremec, or even the G-force rebuild? T5z is a little better, but not that much better.

If I were you I would look on corral for a good tremec or g-force. It will last you a lot longer.
As for the flywheel, I know Green has a difference of opinion but I went with the billet Fidanza. I really looked into the aluminum but the thought of giving up some torque and also, in the event I miss a shift, the engine will keep going until the rev limiter (hopefully) stops it. The billet doesn't have these problems but it also doesn't rev as fast. I thought it was a better choice for a street car and I'm happy with the result.

as long as the headers are the shorty style, with the flange up near the engine, then it should fit. remember with exhaust, you get what you pay for.
When i bought my car, i had flowtech EQUAL length headers, flowtechs are pretty cheap headers. anyways, i was getting new exhaust parts and i found a deal on some UNEQUAL BBK shorties. when i went to install then, the hard part was getting the flowtechs out of there. the flowtech headers didnt have a little dent on the side, right by the bolts, for the bolts to clear. I would loosen a bolt and it would hit the pipe. Not fun, and with them being equal length doesnt help at all.
once i got them out, the BBKs slid RIGHT IN, no problems at all. still performing and dont leak and work like a champ!
some things you might be able to cheap out on, but a good quality set of headers will save you lots of headaches and hassle down the road....

Just get the unequals - BBK will do the job. FMS is the next step up in quality mainly because they have a nice one piece flange.

Yes they will bolt right up (assuming the BBK jig isn't off). The FMS ceramic shorties w/ 1 piece flange is the better way to go but they will cost more $$. I would also invest in some good gaskets (NOT BBK) and ARP locking header bolts while there (~ $60-70). But that's just me
yeah i hear the bbk header gaskets suck lol.
just get a nice cheap felpro gasket, cheap and work. My friend had a race gasket that blew out within 2-3 months of install, my standard felpros are still holding strong, on my old motor the set on my new ones are nice and seal great!
bbk is a great brand, great products and a good price!!! and never a bad expierence.

The King Cobra grabs just as hard and has a softer pedal.
$20 dollar difference for better driving characteristics is worth it.
I have drove both clutches, the HD and King Cobra, King Cobra is definetely the choice...
Yeah, I would stick with a steel flywheel...

I have had the King Cobra and stock clutch...loved it. I like my CF Stage II a bit better because it has an even lighter pedal, but it is a bit more expensive.
No way would I run a HD, especially if I was in a lot of stop and go traffic...

B/c thats what I had for over 4 years of daily driving and 50k miles and it was an awesome clutch. Not to mention the HD pressure plate is slightly better than the KC plate. And because thats my preferance. Been there/done that.
Don't waste the money on a steel sfi flywheel, keep the stocker if thats the case.

stock t5 with a kc clutch, 300 horse at the flywheel and be secure about racing it. More if you aren't the type to romp on it every stoplight, however, I wouldn't trust it to hold long over 300 horse, remember, the kc is a GREAT clutch, but it's only "designed" to hold 30% over stock, you do the #'s. I've seen the hold up to much much more, but then also grenade under a stock motor.
