I currently have a 73mm MAS calibrated for 24lb injectors and would like to know where and how to have calibrated to 19lb injectors

73mm...sounds like a C&L meter. in that case, you just have to buy a 19# sampling tube. they're usually on ebay, i'm not really sure who else has them though. here's the sampling tube if you don't know what i'm talking about.

Thanks for the replies. Actually I don't know what has happened to my pony, i have recently put on a cobra upper and lower intake, 24lb injectors, holley adj fp, 65mm throttle body, bbk cold air and the 73mm mas. Now, cold start hesitation. changed out the coolant temp sensor, act sensor, tps tuned, timing at 12. after it warms up no problems at all. I also installed a electric fp guage (42psi) and vacuum guage (18-20).

i'll tell you right now, if your meter IS in fact a C&L, your bbk cold air kit is messing with your mass air meter's reading. C&L's are designed to work with the factory air box, and the 90* bend from the cold air kit is sending turbulent air to the sensor throwing the reading off. i have a pro flow 75mm bullet mass air meter on my car right now that i was running with a bbk cold air kit as well. 2 weeks ago, just for sh:ts and giggles, i threw my stock stuff back on to see what would happen....my car runs A LOT better with the stock airbox and intake elbow. wayy better, more crisp throttle response, doesn't hesitate anymore. needless to say, i kept the stock stuff on and bought a $6 fram filter for it. i now have a nice, shiny, expensive BBK cold air kit sitting in my garage .

ok so it's not a C&L and it's not a real cold air kit. the meter is better, but that setup is even worse. you're still having the same problem as far as turbulent air, except now it's from the fan. fan wash will throw the reading off even more, not to mention the wwwaayyy hotter air your motor is getting from the engine compartment. even more so now, put the stock stuff back on and see if that helps.

An electric fan will still cause fan wash of the meter with a conical filter. It'll happen with no fan when you're moving, since air is coming through the radiator.

Have to send it back to Pro-M, they charge $100. You can usually buy one used on EBay and sell yours and not pay half that much of a difference even with fees and shipping both ways.
