Recalls on Valve tick

Not that I'm aware of any with the 2V's. I know Ford had addressed some problems the 4V guys were having because of some overheating issues with the head. More often than not, the tick us 2V guys get is noise from the small hydraulic valve actuators (similar to lifters in an OHV engine) that tend to make noise over time. Some are louder than others, but it's kind of a hit and miss thing.

It could also be a number of other things. A little pistons slap, an exhaust leak. Do you know for sure it's in the valve train?

There was no exhaust leaks since me and a buddy did my exhaust on the lift at the shop this saturday, But when you listened to the the crank pulley, it had a sound like it was rocking, and then once you move towards the RHead you would hear the noise more clearly at the top. It doesnt sound like piston slap, or a spun rod.I just dont want to be throwing away money to fix something that its not without knowing first. I might just pick up a set of U/D pullies and see if the noise is still there.
