I am having problems with my 98 mustang after a recent wreck. someone stopped suddenly infront of me and i ended up rear ending the back of their huge truck. there was little damage to my right headlight and my air bags deployed but i was still able to drive the car home. then it wouldn't turn on the next day so i charged the battery and it worked, the next morning the battery was drained again. I just got my alternator fixed so i doubt it has to do with that, is it an electrical issue:shrug:?help pleaseee

If the engine got hit pretty good, then i would say that there is now a grounding issue. Try getting a new battery altogether, and check your fuse box with a voltmeter. That will tell you where to look if something is using a lot more power than it should. But it is most likely the battery and or the alternator. If the battery is bad it will cause more wear and tear on the alternator making it go out faster. But try a new battery to start. Good luck

If you havent changed the airbags yet they may be running your battery dead, or as stated earlier chack the ground on the car it goes from the battery like 5 inches and bolts to the body, and then see if you still have issues
