Can anyone recommend a good book for body work on and old stang? I plan on a glass hood, replacing a couple panels (and patch the floors), basic dent removal (hammer & dolly), and using body filler.
The best books I ever read about body and paint work were the two books by Jon Kosmoski. The first one is called (I think) Kustom Paint Tricks and Tips, and the second is called Advanced Kustom Painting. I'm not sure about the exact wording of the titles, but they are full of great information and inspiration to do it yourself.
Find someone witha subscription to HOTROD. They have been running a DIY series on paint and body work. One or more of the issues lists quite a few print resources.
Eastwood Company sells several books and videos on bodywork and paint. Probably the best one for basics is a reprint of an old book called "The Art of Metal Bumping."
