Hey guys,
I am starting up on my new engine build and I'm unsure about the cam. Here's what I've got so far:
69 Mercury Cougar
408W stroker shortblock
AFR 185CC heads, 58cc combustion chamber (~10.75:1 compression)
Intake: ???? (possibly E-brock RPM Air Gap)
3.77 rear end ratio
No stall, likely going to get a 2500-3000 stall.
I was eying the Comp Cams XE284H. Would that be a good match for this engine? Would there be some things I should change on it to get better performance?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hey keep up the hard work though, I've owned three Cougar in the past, and would love to get another one! Maybe, I'll sell the stang and buy another one.
Big Block 68 this time! You might want to try Classic Cougar Forums, bunch of nice Cougar guys over there.
