I'll be purchasing a Vortech SQ kit and will have about 350rwhp and wanted to see what the widest tire and what brand should I look at purchasing to get better traction on my Saleen 18x9 rims. Thanks.

245/40/18's for the front and 285/35/18's for back will fit good.
That is what I would go with.Tires for 18" wheels will get expensive.
As for what tire to get I would get Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3's.
I just got these tires and they get great traction and stick to the
ground. What car are you putting them on?

275 would be about the widest recomended tire on a 9" rim. that being said you could probably strech a 295 on the rim it would just distort the sidewall.

I would not stagger tire size if you have 9's all the way around. i would just run 275's on all four corners that way you can rotate the tires and extend you life.

I would not run smaller than 255 up front even if you do stagger. 245's will fit but the 255 will have a better sidewall profile. a 245's maximum rim width is 9".

Im running 18x9 Cobra R's all around and in the fron i have 245/40/18's and out back i have 285/35/18's and i'm extremely happy. The tires i have run kinda narrow so they don't even look that big out back...Coulda done 295's
