I've heard they don't prep that track very well. That's amazing what your doing in a vert my hats off to you sir. This is with unported TW heads correct? Have you canged/upgraded anything one the heads ie. spring, valve guides,etc.?

Last night no VHT and they were using a mop and torch to dry the starting line.

Since there are no other tracks nearby they can get away with that.
Heads don't have any work done except for springs but we are suspecting valve float at about 5900rpm's. In fact I ran out of gears at the end of the track a couple of times and had to throw it in neutral before the end of 1/4, but still got 11.8's, because it's not revving past 6000.
Mods? Twisted Wedges, 1.6rr, Crower 514 cam, Mac long tubes, mac pro chamber, magnaflow cat back, rpmII intake, 80mm tb, 42#inj., Microtech engine mgmnt., 4.10 gears. No Maf since it's speed density. Weight with me in it about 3600. That's about it !!!

Actually with the stock processor and 24#.inj it idled better than with the E-cam but it ran really lean, like 16, at wot. That's when I decided it was time for some kind of tuning tool. As far as the inj. I had been planning to run a power adder and that's why but it actually idles just fine, even when cold in the morning except that under load it runs a little rough for a few seconds until it starts warming up, but I have been working on the cold fuel enrichment tables and it's getting way better.
