I need to know if there is any possible benefit to getting the flow matching 24lb fuel injectors vs the standard 24lb injectors. This would be for a standard naturally aspirated H,C,I 302.
I read that that regular injectors flow rate can vary by up to 6% while the matched rate injectors are usually around .5%. Is this enough of a discrepancy to dictate the extra cost?

Thanks in advance

Bosch injectors are flow matched, they cost the same as the fms ones. Dunno if the fms ones are flow matched or not though?

FMS injectors that are not flow matched are usually around $199 for non flow matched injectors while a flow matched set would run $309. GEF racing So, yes they do make them but they're a hundred bucks more. I'm guessing everyone goes with the standard version of injectors?

Check with your local junk yard and see if you can get a set of blue bodied injectors from a newer Navigator - they are 24# and the connectors are identical to the Stangs.

I got the FMS flowmatched 24's from GEF Racing. Ford Racing provided a sheet specifiying the actual rates. The corrected flow between them was all within .004 lbs/hr (25.205-25.208).

Probably by the way they look. The Bosch Design II "pintel" style 24# injector (ala Cobra) has a steel lower body below the blue plastic top section. The Navigators are Bosch Design III "disc" style and the entire body is blue and plastic.
